The closest City Loop station is Melbourne Central. From here you can catch a tram or walk to the campus.
By Tram
From Elizabeth Street catch tram number 19 and disembark at Stop 11 (The University of Melbourne/Royal Parade). Follow Genetics Lane (to the left of The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health) to the Arts West building.
From Swanston Street catch tram number 1, 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 or 72, and disembark at Stop 1 (Melbourne University/Swanston Street).
On Foot
The Parkville campus is a 15 to 20 minute walk north of Melbourne’s CBD.
By Car
- University Square Car Park: Entrance at 244 Bouverie Street or 206 Berkeley Street.
- Eastern Precinct Car Park: 375 Cardigan Street, Carlton, near the corner of Elgin Street.
- Royal Parade: Enter via Royal Parade, located between Genetics Lane and Medical Road (beneath Kenneth Myer Building).

The rate is AUD$125.00 room only per night, valid for 4th – 7th July 2023 (any dates outside this will be subject to availability and can be quoted at time of booking).
Standard Studio Queen Rooms – 1 x Queen bed, ensuite bathroom, heating and cooling, kitchenette with hot plate burners, microwave, toaster, basic crockery and cutlery, working desk and flat screen TV. Max two people occupancy sharing 1 x Queen bed. No rollaways.
Cancellation Policy – 7 days prior to arrival (hotel must be notified by 2pm 7 days prior, or full cancellation fees apply).
Covid Cancellations – if the guest needs to cancel within 7 days of arrival due to Covid, this will be looked at on a case by case basis.
No Show Policy – if the guest does not arrive, full fees for all nights booked will be charged.
