Arts West

In 2023, OCIS will be held in the spectacular Arts West building, home of the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne.

Arts West offers students access to world-class spaces and provides academic staff with a purpose-built teaching and research environment. The building’s spaces are designed to facilitate distinct modes of teaching and learning, and incorporate various interactive technologies. The building also features a 150-seat lecture theatre and a range of specialist teaching spaces. Together, these aspects create dynamic educational spaces for staff and students.

From the outside, the visual impact of Arts West’s striking façade is immediate, presenting abstract and unique images of objects from the University’s rich cultural collections. Designed to foster a sense of community and enhanced amenity, the impressive building also boasts a 5 Star Green Star Rating.
