ABOUT OCIS

The Oceanic Conference on International Studies (OCIS) is Australasia's premier International Relations conference and the largest of its kind in Oceania, offering an exceptional forum for cutting-edge research and discussion from and about the region.

Held every two years, OCIS brings together the growing community of international studies scholars, including postgraduates, from across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. It showcases the breadth of world-class research being conducted in the region and fosters scholarly networks and relationships, spanning all fields of international studies.

The conference is known for its relaxed yet intellectually stimulating atmosphere, drawing leading scholars from around the world while giving junior scholars a valuable opportunity to showcase their evolving ideas.
